About the Masterclass
Public-private partnerships have been responsible for the delivery of over 700 large infrastructure projects in the UK over the past 20 years. There is evidence to suggest that the financial crisis of recent years may make PFI-style projects even more attractive to the world's governments, as they seek ways of investing in infrastructure and stimulating growth that do not require immediate expenditure or borrowing. In the UK, however, it is increasingly being suggested that public-private initiatives provide poor value for money to the taxpayer as projects, often delivered over budget or late, fail to achieve the savings that were hoped for.
The latest Masterclass in SAE Media Group's highly successful PPP/PFI Training Course series delivers an invaluable step-by-step guide through the complexities of a PPP/PFI project, focusing on how to achieve delivery of the project at minimum cost and how variance of contracts can help to achieve significant savings. Providing specialist insight into all the key issues, with an opportunity to ask the experts, you will gain a comprehensive overview of PPP/PFI from a leading law firm in an informal and interactive environment.
